§ Mr. McMasterTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland when he next plans to meet representatives of the Scottish Sports Council to discuss the development of community sports facilities; and if he will make a statement.
§ Sir Hector Monro[holding answer 11 June 1992]: I met the chairman and chief executive of the Scottish Sports Council on Wednesday 3 June. We discussed a number of initiatives which the council is currently promoting, including those which are related to the development of 1028W community sports facilities. The council will be keeping me closely in touch with the range of sports matters within its interest. I look forward to further meetings with council representatives from time to time.
