§ Mr. GunnellTo ask the President of the Board of Trade (1) what measures the Government are taking to change the small firms loan guarantee scheme to meet their needs in 1992;
(2) what discussions he has had with external organisations regarding the future of the small firms loan guarantee scheme since 9 April;
(3) for each year of the operation of the small firms loan guarantee scheme what is (a) the number of companies assisted in that year which had by April gone into receivership and (b) the sum paid out to the lending banks under that scheme;
(4) how many firms have received money through the small firms loan guarantee scheme each financial year since its inception in 1981;
