To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will take steps to make the wearing of life jackets compulsory for all users of pleasure craft under 10 m, when under way.

Her Majesty's Coastguard has issued a brochure which states that life jackets for all on hoard are essential and should be worn at all times.
