To ask the Secretary of State for Education what resources will be available for the access funds in 1992–93.

Mr. Forman

A total of £26.2 million will be available for the access funds in Great Britain for the 1992–93 academic year.

My Department's share will be £23.37 million. This sum is being allocated between the three access funds; allocations for the 1991–92 academic year are shown in parenthesis:
