§ Mr. Kenneth CarlisleMy Department's Transport Research Laboratory is currently reviewing national and international research and experience in the use of a wide range of alternative fuels and engines for road vehicles. The review is scheduled for completion by end of November 1992 and the findings will be published in due course.
In addition to the TRL review, my Department continues to keep abreast of developments worldwide and to encourage technological developments aimed at reducing the environmental impact of vehicles.
