§ 46. Mr. BowisTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what contribution the Overseas Development Administration is making to the promotion of child health both directly and through the United Nations and other international agencies.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydWe make a significant contribution. The Overseas Development Administration is spending some £ 100 million a year on health and population activities, bilaterally and multilaterally. It is not possible to provide a detailed breakdown but a substantial proportion of this aid benefits children's health.
