§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe Foreign and Commonwealth Office has been notified by the Commission of the European Communities of the following three agreements to which the European Community and all members of the European Free Trade Association are party
convention on the simplification of formalities in trade in goods, signed at Interlaken 20 May 1987;convention on a common transit procedure, signed at Interlaken 20 May 1987;agreement laying down a Procedure for the exchange of information in the field of technical regulations signed at Brussels 19 December 1989.The negotiations between the European Community and the member states of the European Free Trade Association on the establishment of the European economic area were concluded this year. The agreement was signed in Oporto on 2 May 1992 but has still to be ratified.
