§ Miss WiddecombeBenefit rates are not composed of set amounts for specific expenditure items. In April 1992 income support will rise by 7 per cent., nearly 3 per cent. more than the retail prices index for the corresponding period. Those over 80, and younger disabled pensioners, will receive further additions over and above this rise.
