§ Mr. AllenTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will take steps to ensure that officers dealing with disability living allowance claims during the period February 1992 to April 1993 do not tag computer records with a view to automatically creating subsequent reviews.
§ Mr. ScottAwards of disability living allowance will be made either for life or for a fixed period. There will be no automatic reviews during the course of an award. As now, clients with fixed period awards will be invited to re-apply towards the end of the period. These arrangements will apply to cases determined during the period of transition and will continue to operate thereafter.
