§ Mr. Peter LloydBy virtue of certain statutory controls and the provisions of the Independent Television Commission's code of advertising standards and practice, all advertising of betting and gaming is prohibited on commercial television. Lotteries permitted under the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976 may be advertised on television.
