HL Deb 25 February 1992 vol 536 c7WA
Baroness Turner of Camden

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What are the reasons for moving the London South Industrial Tribunal to Croydon, what are the advantages of this move and whether there has been any analysis of possible effects on applicants, respondents, members and staff.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Employment (Viscount Ullswater)

The industrial tribunals are independent judicial bodies and the location of the London South Regional Office is a matter for the President of the Industrial Tribunals (England and Wales) to decide.
