In which courts duty psychiatrist schemes now exist; and in which others will such schemes be introduced by the end of 1992.
The Minister of State, Home Office (Earl Ferrers)Full information about the number of duty psychiatrist schemes is not kept centrally. The Government will make £4 million available over the next three years to assist in establishing such schemes. Arrangements to consider specific bids for funding such schemes will be announced shortly.
