To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what discussions he has had with the Potato Marketing Board to encourage more variety in species of potato grown in the United Kingdom.

None. The Potato Marketing Board's latest planting survey showed that 131 varieties were grown commercially in Great Britain last year.
