Mr. JacksonIn the 12 months ending December 1991, 4,423,260 people became claimant unemployed, compared to 3,721,914 who left unemployment, leading to a net rise of 701,346 over the year, on the unadjusted basis.
The flow figures will include some people who had more than one spell of unemployment during the year.
