§ Mr. ScottThe cold weather payments scheme is based on a system which ensures that the weather in all parts of the country is monitored by an appropriate weather station. Payments cannot be made for an area covered by a weather station that did not register temperatures cold enough to trigger a payment under the regulations, but all payments due under the social fund cold weather regulations have been, or will be made shortly.
