How Britain's record of implementing EC legislation relating to the single market compares with that of the other 11 member states.

The latest figures, giving the state of implementation on single market White Paper measures, were issued by the EC Commission just prior to the Edinburgh Council. These show that the UK is in fifth position in the "league table" of member states, with a percentage score of 81 per cent.
