§ Mr. SteenTo ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will provide a breakdown of the cost of each of the five editions of "The single market: A Guide to Public Purchasing"; how many copies were produced for each edition; and what guidance on public purchasing has been produced by every other EC member state in accordance with community guidelines.

We are aware of written guidance published by France, Ireland, Italy and Portugal. Information from every member state could not be obtained in the time available and would be available only at disproportionate cost.
