dental list have given written notice to each FHSA to deregister some or all of their continuing care arrangements for adult patients in each week since 8 July; how many dentists have deregistered patients; and how many patients have been deregistered.

Dr. Mawhinney

[holding answer 30 November 1992]: The information is contained in the tables. The tables give the number of dentists who have given written notice to the family health services authority of their intention to deregister adult patients under continuing care arrangements and the numbers of adults affected. Over the period 30 June 1992 to 30 September 1992, the total number of adult registrations has increased from 20,618,887 to 21,829,488.

[holding answer 30 November 1992]: The information is contained in the tables. The tables give the numbers of dentists who have given written notice to the family health services authorities of their intention to deregister child patients under capitation arrangements and the numbers of children affected. For the period 30 June 1992 to 30 September 1992, the total number of children covered by capitation payments has increased from 6,472,689 to 7,103,096.
