§ Mr. Chris SmithTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what steps he is taking to ensure implementation of the forest principles agreed at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydWe shall publish a national plan on our own implementation of the forest principles, by the end of 1993. We are also using our influence, together with our EC and G7 partners, to seek agreement to an international review process. We believe that this should involve the Sustainable Development Commission which is being established by the United Nations General Assembly.
