To ask the Secretary of State for Health when she will announce her decision on the appeal from Nottingham city hospital to be allowed to build a new day care unit at the edge of its current site and on the competing bid by the health authority to sell land for a supermarket.

The matter has been referred to the National Health Service Management Executive for resolution. The NHSME is currently waiting for further information from the parties concerned.
