§ Mr. HardyTo ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he proposes to meet representatives of the European Commission to discuss the arrangements which will need to be made to allow the United Kingdom to quality for support under the RECHAR programme.
§ Mr. Leigh[holding answer 21 October 1991]: The Commission's continued refusal to approve the United Kingdom's applications for RECHAR programmes is unreasonable. We have at present no plans for further meetings.
