§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonThe Cairngorms working party is considering current land use practices in the Cairngorms area and the preparation of an integrated management plan consistent with:
- — the importance of the natural heritage of the Cairngorms,
- — the need to assure social and economic benefits to local people, land-users and those who invest in the land.
- — and the value of the Cairngorms for recreational purposes.
It is expected to report in summer 1992.
