Mr. Flynn

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has received from local authorities, non-governmental organisations and individuals over the transport to the nuclear reprocessing facility at Dounreay by road across Scotland of highly enriched spent research reactor fuel from Braunschweig in Germany in early October.

The Scottish Office has received four representations, all of which are from individuals. Responsibility for transport safety issues throughout Great Britain rests with my right hon. arid learned Friend the Secretary of State for Transport.
