§ Mr. MorganTo ask the Secretary of State for Energy what discussions he has had with the Director General of the Office of Gas Supply concerning the status of the April 1991 agreement with the board of British Gas plc to accept new price increase controls from 1 April 1992.
§ Mr. MoynihanThe terms of the agreement regarding the new tariff price formula are a matter for the Director General of Gas Supply and British Gas. I am pleased the agreement reached will reinforce the downward trend in gas prices since privatisation.
