HC Deb 15 October 1991 vol 196 c124W
Mr. Corbyn

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how he will ensure that the traffic director for London will consult organisations representing people with disabilities before placing priority route plans before him.

Mr. Chope

[holding answer 14 October 1991]: The Road Traffic Act 1991 provides that when the traffic director prepares or varies a priority route local plan, he must consult such organisations representing the interests of people with a disability who may be affected by the plan as appear to him to be appropriate.
