§ Mrs. RumboldThe annual electoral registration advertising campaign in England and Wales this year used national poster sites only; no advertisements were placed in newspapers, magazines or periodicals. In a smaller, separate campaign designed to help teachers to encourage young people to register, advertisements were placed inThe Times Educational Supplement, Educational Guardian, Telegraph Education and Teachers Weekly.
A total of £14,500 has been spent in England and Wales on a leaflet and poster on absent voting. It is not possible to break this figure down by parliamentary constituency.
