HL Deb 19 November 1991 vol 532 c62WA
Lord Hylton

asked Her Majesty's Government:

On how many occasions in each of the last five years police officers monitoring interrogations in Northern Ireland on closed circuit television have interrupted or ended an interview because they were not satisfied with the way in which it was conducted.

The Paymaster General (Lord Belstead)

I regret that it is not yet possible to provide a substantive answer to this question. I will write as soon as possible and place a copy of my letter in the Library.
