§ Mr. DorrellThere are no plans to introduce legislation to introduce further bans on tobacco advertising. Our system of voluntary agreements continues to provide a flexible and effective way of controlling such advertising. On 9 September my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State announced the conclusion of a revised voluntary agreement on advertising which introduces a range of new controls many of which are designed to protect children.
