HC Deb 06 November 1991 vol 198 cc155-6W
31. Mr. Harris

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received on the form that the proposed environment agency should take.

Mr. Baldry

The Government's proposals for an Environment Agency were set out in a consultation paper published on 3 October. We have invited views on these proposals by 31 January 1992. So far we have received representations about the role of the National Rivers Authority, the arrangements for waste regulation, and the drinking water inspectorate.
