To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will publish a list of figures showing the value of manufacturing output levels in Wales in each year since 1975 at constant 1975 prices.

Changes in the level of manufacturing output at constant prices are best measured by the index of industrial production and construction for Wales (1985 = 100). Annual averages from 1978 are given in the following table. Welsh figures for years prior to 1978 could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
