§ Dr. ThomasTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will publish details for the last three years showing(a) the overall budget of the Welsh Office information division, (b) the amount of money dispersed by the information division to outside advertising agencies and (c) the percentage of moneys dispersed to advertising agencies which has been accounted for by advertising companies based in Wales.

The overall budget of the Welsh Office information division for the past three years is: for 1988–89 £1,239,003; for 1989–90 £1,375,806; and for 1990–91 £729,647.
The amount of money dispersed by the information division to outside advertising agencies for 1988–89 is available only at disproportionate costs; for 1989–90 £266,670; and for 1990–91 £265,956.18.
The percentage of moneys dispersed to advertising agencies which has been accounted for by advertising agencies in Wales for 1988–89 is only available at disproportionate costs: for 1989–90 it is 58.14 per cent. and for 1990–91 it is 71.07 per cent.
