§ Mr. MacleanThe beef special premium scheme is operated in Great Britain at the point of slaughter and at live auction markets on sale with a view to slaughter. The premium would therefore be payable to any eligible primary producer finishing male cattle. In registering for the scheme, producers are not required to state whether their farms are in upland or in lowland areas. The statistics requested are therefore not available.
