§ Mr. BlunkettTo ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish tables showing separately for England, Wales and Scotland grants to local authorities from central Government net of non-domestic rate income, for 1990–91 and 1991–92, and showing separately expressed in £ million and as a percentage for (i) specific grants within aggregate external finance, (ii) revenue support grant, (iii) area protection grant, (iv) Inner London education grant, (v) housing grants and (vi) other specific grants.
§ Mr. MellorThe information requested is set out in the tables. The figures given are consistent with those published in the "Statistical Supplement to the Autumn Statement"—Cm. 1520; the 1991–92 figures also incorporate the additional grants announced this year to reduce the levels of community charge bills.
