HC Deb 20 May 1991 vol 191 c388W
Mr. Wigley

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what are the estimated numbers of severely disabled people who will meet the present criteria set out by the independent living fund for each of the next five years.

Mr. Scott

It is not possible to estimate the numbers of people who will all meet the criteria set by the trustees for receiving help from the ILF.

The number of people receiving help from the ILF at the end of March 1989 was 890. The number at the end of March 1990 was 4,262; and 7,724 at the end of March 1991.
