§ Mr. Archie HamiltonWhen notifying next-of-kin of the death of service personnel who are killed in action, it is our policy to provide, in a sympathetic manner, information about the circumstances of the death, where known. Further information is provided when it becomes available. If a board of inquiry is held, a summary of the proceedings can be provided, on request, to the next-of-kin.
