HC Deb 08 May 1991 vol 190 c529W
Mr. Redmond

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what assistance the Government gave to Doncaster metropolitan borough council to meet additional expenditure incurred following the bad weather during this last winter.

Mr. Key

None. The council has not requested any assistance and we have no information to suggest that it incurred costs greater than those which it could be expected to meet as part of its normal responsibilities for coping with winter weather.
