To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry when he received the recommendation on the Elf-Aquitaine takeover of Amoco's oil refining and allied downstream business interests in the United Kingdom from the Monopolies and Mergers Commission; when he anticipates making a decision; and if he will make a statement.
