Training and Enterprise Councils

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment how many training and enterprise councils became operational in April.

Mr. Howard

Twenty-three training and enterprise councils became operational in April 1991 which brings the total of operational TECs up to seventy-four. The remaining eight TECs will be operational later this year.
