§ Mrs. ChalkerWe are already financing a health project for the Yanomami Indians through Oxfam. We are currently discussing with the Brazilian authorities the possibility of providing further help for indigenous people and I will be very happy to do so from within our bilateral programme for Brazil if suitable activities can be identified. Support has also been made available under the joint funding scheme to British non-governmental organisations undertaking development projects in Brazil and, subject to the availability of resources, new proposals from non-governmental organisations will be considered.
