§ Mr. Michael ForsythThe Forestry Commission does not keep a separate record of fees paid to consultants. A general search of the relevant files has identified only one occasion when consultants were employed to advise on management questions. That was in 1984, at a cost of £17,000. The commission has no current plans to employ management consultants.
