To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) what reasons underlay his decision to change the VAT status of knitting patterns;

(2) if he will zero-rate for VAT purposes knitting patterns for babywear and children's garments;

the Bradford Playhouse and Film Theatre to the Old Library Theatre Museum of Photography; and if he will make a statement.
