§ Mr. Tony BanksTo ask the Secretary of State for Transport what progress has been made by Eurotunnel in meeting its obligations under section 19(3) of the Channel Tunnel Act 1987; and what steps he intends to take to ensure that these obligations are fully met by 15 June 1993.
§ Mr. FreemanI understand that Eurotunnel is working on plans for the carriage of pedal bicycles and motorcycles through the channel tunnel. Its plans will be subject to operating rules which require the approval of the intergovernmental commission in accordance with clause 13 of the concession agreement.
