§ Mr. GillTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what guidance he intends to give to local authorities about implementation of the new meat inspection charges.
§ Mr. MacleanGuidance on the implementation of the new meat inspection charges has already been given to local authorities in the form of a circular, FSH 3/90, issued in December. I am arranging for a copy of this circular to be placed in the Library of the House.
We will also be issuing shortly to local authority associations and the main trade associations a brief guide to the appeals procedure provided for in the regulations.
