To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the recent meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Madrid.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

An extraordinary meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe was held in Madrid on 21 February. The United Kingdom was represented by my right hon. and noble Friend the Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs.

A copy of the conclusions of the Chair are being placed in the Library of the House.
