§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe most recent meeting of COCOM was held on 27 to 28 February at executive committee level. This was originally planned to be a high level meeting, but since some outstanding technical issues in the exercise to reform the COCOM controls remained, the high level meeting was postponed until the new "core list" of controls is ready for implementation.
The executive committee meeting made much progress towards solving the problems. Work continues in order to resolve the remaining issues rapidly.
