HC Deb 14 March 1991 vol 187 c683W
Mr. Sillars

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what reduction in income Greater Glasgow health board will face during 1991–92 because of share parity adjustment; and what further such parity adjustment reduction may be anticipated for 1991–93.

Mr. Michael Forsyth

Greater Glasgow health board was allocated £536.073 million for revenue expenditure purposes in 1991–92, an increase in base allocation of 7.6 per cent. over the 1990–91 level. This is £13 million less than would have been allocated to them if the national average increase had been applied. The £13 million was redistributed among the other 14 health boards to achieve a more equitable distribution of resources.

No decisions have yet been taken on allocations for 1992–93.
