Mr. Rooker

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if any recent discussions have taken place with the Government of Albania regarding the various claims in respect of the award of the International Court of Justice in 1949 following the incident in the Corfu channel and the Albanian gold held in the Bank of England.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

British and Albanian officials met in November and December of last year to discuss outstanding bilateral issues.
