§ Mr. TrippierThe Government fully support the directive. Indeed, we played a full part in the discussions which resulted in its formulation. The United Kingdom is committed to implementing the directive in domestic law by the end of 1992, and my Department will shortly be issuing a consultation paper on ways of achieving this.
