§ Mr. LeighThe location of the Community trade marks office has become linked with the wider issue of the location of other Community bodies, on which there has been no progress in recent years. In view of the uncertainty in timing, no consideration has recently been given to specific sites. However, the United Kingdom bid to locate the office in London remains on the table.
§ Mr. DykesTo ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he expects the United Kingdom to meet its obligations under the Community trade marks harmonisation directive before 31 December; and when he expects to publish new domestic trade marks legislation to implement this and related objectives.
