To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will make a statement on the lifting of Crown immunity from Government Departments in respect of the 3 per cent. quota of jobs for disabled people.

Mr. Jackson

The Government's consultative docu-ment "Employment and Training for People with Disabilities" invited comments on the merits and demerits of the quota scheme. We are presently considering the response to the consultations.
